EYEBROW TRANSPLANTATION

Eyebrows Transplantation is procedure performed by our medical team which basically involves the placement of 100-400 Grafts into each eyebrow, depending upon the existing amount of hair and the desired size and density of our patients.

This procedure is usually performed under a mild oral sedative, lasts up to 2-4 hours and is an essentially painless procedure with a painless recovery period.

4 Days after the procedure tiny crusts are around each transplanted graft. After 5 days only some occasional mild pinkness is left, but they fade out by the end of first week. Patients are able to return to normal activities without any sign of having had a procedure. The transplanted hairs fall out after 2 weeks and then start to grow again after 4 month, where they will continue to grow for a lifetime.

The goal of this procedure is to restore growing hair to eyebrows that are overly thin, scarred, or completely missing.

The absence of eyebrows hair can be due to genetics, prior electrolysis or laser hair removal, overplucking, thyroid or other hormonal abnormalities or trauma due to surgery, burns or other types of accidents. Some of our Patients wish to have this procedure to have full and thick eyebrows, others for a subtle thickening, while others go for this procedure to have a scar made less visible.
